Just Another Lazy Sunday

Sundays are meant to be lazy. Rest days that land on Sundays...well, I was lucky I got off the couch. But get off the couch I did all thanks to lots and lots of food.

I've lived in Columbus for a month and a half and have yet to go out for brunch. Brunch is in my top five favorite things of all time, so I had to rectify this. B and I ate brunch at the Grand Day Cafe in Grandview and my old friend "veggie omelet with a side a fruit" and I were reacquainted. I don't know what it is about eating eggs between 11 and 1, but they were the best eggs I've eaten in months...

After brunch, my brother and I went to my Aunt and Uncle's for Sunday dinner. Our other cousin joined and we had a wonderful pork dinner while watching Iron Man 3. In case I don't mention this in every post I write, I love living in Columbus. We found it funny that neither of my Aunt and Uncle's two kids were at dinner. One was working and the other's at college. We three sure know how to crash date night.

I checked my stats on Map My Run, the app I use to track my workouts, and couldn't believe how drastically my runs have increased from the beginning of the year. I ran almost 100 miles in the month of September. I'm no where near the milage of elite runners, but this is definitely the most I have ever ran in my life. If I'm sidelined with an injury in the coming weeks, we'll know why (fingers crossed for my legs!).

What's the best thing you ate today?

How many miles do you normally run per month?
