Day Three & Halloween Saturday

Happy Halloween! Well, almost. Tonight, my friends and I are celebrating Halloween here in Columbus. We got really crafty this year and created our own costumes. I'll be posting the full reveal tomorrow, but here's a sneak preview…

Saturday = gym morning. I don't know if I love or hate that my gym is not crowded on Saturday mornings. I love it because I never have to worry about a machine being taken, however, it's always fun seeing a bunch of people working on their fitness. It's inspiring, and I always make it a competition as I try to run faster or lift more reps than my neighbor. With less people around, I go into my head zone a little more - not necessarily a bad thing, just different. I'm definitely used to crowds.

Still no running (although my legs are feeling much stronger and are tempting me more and more every day) so this morning I did 45 minutes on the Elliptical, followed by 15 minutes in the SPIN room, and ended with weights/abs. I loved getting on the SPIN bike again - it's been months. I definitely will be taking a SPIN class again soon...
