Working Out With Mom & Lots Of Food

In order to prep for the amazing Thanksgiving dinner that came our way tonight, I worked out in my apartment's workout room this morning. Mom joined me too! You know what they say, the family that works out together eats three plates of dinner together. Or something like that.

I worked out on the elliptical for a solid hour while mom walked on the Treadmill for 30 minutes. We then went into the weight room. Mom did some light arm exercises she learned in physical therapy (she's recovering from a shoulder injury), and I did squats and abs.

Get it, mom!

Leggings are a must on Turkey day. When I arrived at my Aunt's house, my little cousin was wearing leggings too. We take our eating seriously...

I honestly believe no family does large meal holidays better than mine. I was contemplating lunch before I left my apartment, but had a feeling my aunt would have veggies out and lo and behold, the table was covered with veggies, pretzels, hummus, cheese and five types of crackers. We then started pouring lots of champagne…

Cheers!

The food was amazing. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, cheesy rice and broccoli casserole, cranberry pineapple goodness, followed by pumpkin shortbread, apple crisp and vanilla ice cream. I'm good until 2014. Or at least till Christmas…

So thankful for these crazy people…

How did you work off your Turkey today?

Did you score any awesome Black Friday sales? I didn't do too much Friday shopping. Cyber Monday is where I shine.
