Big Ten Championship Road Trip & Not Working Out

I had a very eventful, non-working out weekend. On Saturday, my friends and I traveled to Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship game. Unfortunately, the game didn't go exactly as we had hoped, but we still had a blast…

Since I have to eat every two hours or else I will die, I packed enough snacks to feed a family of four for a long weekend. I was only out of town for 24 hours...

I tried to take scenic pictures from the road, but it turns out there is not a whole lot happening between Columbus and Indianapolis…

My healthy eating while traveling goal went out the window the minute we found this pizza place across the street from the stadium. Maybe I've been living in the Midwest too long or I was starving, but this pizza was good! Sorry NJ and NY readers…

This was my first visit to Lucas Oil Stadium, and what an awesome place to watch a game! I've never been comfortable at a football game before - you're either too hot or too cold, but the dome life is quite nice.

40,000 Buckeye fans showed up. Too bad the Ohio State football team did not...

I had so much fun with my road trip buddy. We kept smiling despite the loss and the freezing temperatures...

Unless you count the brisk walking we did in the cold, I took a nice break from working out this weekend. Looking forward to clean eating and lots of sweating again this week. Now if we can just make it spring so I can get outside, all will be right with the world.

What did you do this weekend?

Do you pack healthy snacks when traveling?

Have you ever seen a football game in a dome stadium?
