Carb Goodness & Craft Night

Fun weekend over; another work week has begun. We all know how much I love snacks, but the following snacks are my absolute favorite right now. I will never grow tired of my 1 tbsp peanut butter with half a banana on a rice cake morning snack, but I recently created a new concoction of carb goodness. An instant oatmeal packet, 1/4 cup puffins, 1/4 cup of Kashi crunch, cinnamon on top. I needed to carb load before my workout (okay, I carb load for walks to the mailbox), so this was the perfect 4pm snack...

I had an "ah-ha" moment and decided to hit the lap button on my phone stopwatch at the gym to mark my miles. I still hate staring at my stopwatch while running, but it's slightly better than having to remember what minute and second I ran my last lap in. 

4 miles (36 laps) in 37:16. 

Mile 1: 9:07
Mile 2: 9:17
Mile 3: 9:17
Mile 4: 9:17

I finished with 15 minutes on the StairMaster and abs. 

My friends and I had a craft night. I am probably the least crafty person alive, but I held my own. I now want to take on tons of homemaking projects…

As I was leaving craft night, the Nationwide building downtown had a nice message for Columbus...
