Sweating Heals All Wounds...And Burns Off Cookies

I have been in recovery mode since my car accident Thursday night, and today was the first day I gave myself permission to sweat a little. It felt so awesome to get the blood flowing once again. I'm still not comfortable running yet, but in a few days, I will be more than ready to hit the pavement (or treadmill/indoor track).

Today was 40 minutes on the elliptical, 11 minutes of stairs followed by ab work - no weights. I've been trying to avoid too many selflies, but had to today as I was so happy to be exercising again…

Since I was on a workout hiatus all weekend, I had to find other ways to fill my time. Eating and sleeping satisfied most of the void, and I ran a few errands in between. On Saturday, I went to the DMV and finally changed my license. I've only been living in Ohio for four months now. No time like the present…

Saturday night, I attended my friend's sister's holiday party. It was a lot of fun and I ate way too many cookies. The reese's cookies were the best...

They set up two TVs and had one set to ABC Family and the other set to the OSU basketball game…

Successful party guarantee
As we were driving home from the party, we passed the most decorated house I have seen yet this year. These people do Christmas right…

This morning, the ladies and I met at Union cafe for a breakfast buffet brunch and exchanged gifts. It was a perfect ending to a restful weekend…

Have you finished your Christmas shopping? Nope!

What workout started your week?

Favorite Christmas cookie? I love anything with chocolate or peanut butter…or both!
