My 100th Post!

Happy 100 posts to me. I can't thank you all enough for reading my silly ramblings!

Yesterday was a rest day so I found ways to amuse myself - working late and eating TJ's Strawberry non-dairy frozen dessert. Do I know how to party or what?! PS, first time trying this and it was delicious!

I didn't workout early like I'd hope today, which meant I was at the apartment gym after work. I warmed up with 1.5 mile run (8:50 pace), and then cross trained. Twenty-five minutes on the elliptical and twelve minutes on the StairMaster…

My training plan only calls for one rest day per week, but knowing how my body works, I need two (sometimes three). I have tried the "6 days on" thing, and my body shuts down by week two. I'm sure nutrition plays a vital part in this - something I'm still working on - but I seem to run fine on five days a week. You have to do whatever feels right for you. If you're dragging through your day, you may need to cut it back a little. Sometimes less really is more.

I met the girls for dinner at Bibibop - the perfect post workout meal. Rice, chicken and loads of veggies. I hadn't been there in a while and forgot how great the food is...

How many rest days do you take per week?
