I Listened To My Training Plan (Today)

My phone crashed on me this morning, so I had to reactivate my old iPhone 4. I feel like I'm using a phone from the caveman era. First world problems, I know. The point is I lost all my pictures, so all I have are photos from my early morning workout today. Lucky you :)

I love/hate how deceiving mother nature is with her beaming sunshine and frigid temps. I love seeing the sun; hate feeling the temperature…





















I listened to my training plan today - It doesn't happen that often, so it's exciting when I don't have to cross out the workout and write in my own. 3 gym track miles (9:25 pace) followed by a personal training session.

PT workout: straight leg deadlifts, bent rows, bosu hop overs x3 sets; ring pushups (exactly how they sound - doing pushups with hanging rings), squats with up rows (45 pound bar), jumping jacks x3 sets; box dips (like chair dips except from a step up box), lunge jumps, horizontal rows with rings x3 sets. I was ready for bed at 8:30 am.

12 minutes on the elliptical to cool down...


In other exciting news, the hotel rooms have been booked for D.C, so race weekend is official! What was supposed to be a quick trip to run a race is turning into an awesome weekend in one of my favorite cities in the world with my favorite people.
