Two Workouts In One Post

Multitasking is the only way to get through life - blogging before class starts. I'm always the first one here…


Just another "two days in one" post. I had a plan to go to Spin on Tuesday night, but because I arrive at the gym at 5:30 and Spin doesn't start till 6:45, I decided to create my own Spin routine - with mix results. I have a few Spin playlists, and I ride along with the beat of each song. I'm not a trained Spin instructor, so sometimes I succeed, sometimes not. Tuesday was an "eh" workout. My legs were tired, so while I worked hard, I only rode the bike for 30 minutes, followed by 12 minutes on the Elliptical and then a little ab work…


I was fine with my so-so workout (it happens), because I had PT bright and early Wednesday morning. 3 miles followed by lots of strength training, then a cool down. Justin had me jump the length of the basketball court while swinging my arms with dips on the pull up machine in between jumping sets. We then used the dumbbells to get in some lunge/arm exercises with spider man ab crawls in between. I was once again ready for bed at 9 am…


The best part of yesterday was the warmer temps. I was able to wear shorts to the gym for the first time since last fall. Who knew 40 degrees could feel like summer...


I spent some much needed time later in the day face timing my Bestie. She's a nanny for the cutest kid ever, so we all caught up on life…


My brother missed family dinner this past weekend, so he convinced my Aunt and Uncle to host us again last night. Everyone should end their day with a plate of spaghetti with homemade meatballs and tomato sauce…
