Pure Barre & Frozen Sundays

On Sunday morning, I woke up bright and early thinking I'd miss the early morning apartment gym rush, but the place was hopping. Don't people sleep in anymore?

After the gym, the girls and I took a Pure Barre class in Dublin. This was no joke. Muscles I didn't know existed are sore. You can learn more about the Pure Barre technique here, but basically you use light hand weights (I used 2 pounders) to do isometric moves that target the arms, thighs, seat, and abs. And it hurts. But it's awesome. My dream of becoming a ballet dancer finally came true…

I had no idea what we were in for

After Pure Barre, we had to feed our dancer bodies and ate lunch at the Sunny Street Cafe in Dublin. I ordered the Harvest wrap and an iced coffee…


My cousin let me borrow the movie Frozen, so I FINALLY watched it last night. I don't think Stella was as excited as I was. She's also not loving me asking her every minute, "Do you want to build a snowman?"
