The Training Is Over - Time For Carbs!

The Rock 'N' Roll USA Half Marathon training is officially complete. I ran a little over 2 miles at the gym yesterday (20 minutes) and then finished with 12 minutes of the Elliptical. Race day, here I come!


I finished my training with an Aerial yoga class dark and early this morning (the sun doesn't rise here until 8am - it's very odd). Oh and Mother Nature is one fickle lady…


Oh hey, it's 7am...

Now it is time for food, food and more food. They say you should really start carb loading two days before (works for me!), so I'm eating lots of fruits, veggies and whole grains until Saturday morning. Oh and lots of water - I'm aiming for a gallon a day. My biggest challenge will be the 6 1/2 hour drive tomorrow. I'll just have to make lots of stops…
