Beauty Is Everywhere & Superfood Snacking

Yesterday was another boring rest day. I take rest days because my body would break if I didn't, but I am so much more tired and lazy on days when I don't workout. I need that sweat session to turn on my brain. 

I did take the time to walk around the neighborhood. I know these are technically weeds, but how pretty does this yard look?!

This morning I scheduled another personal training session (bikini season is coming!). My legs are still sore from my monday session, so I hit the StairMaster for 20 minutes beforehand. Today there were lots of jumping squats, mountain climbers, and zig zag jumping jacks.

Justin also gave me a golf ball to help work out the kinks in my IT band. And it hurts. A lot.


While I was cooling down on the elliptical, I saw this older gentlemen making his way around the indoor track, suspenders and all. Talk about inspiring. If he can do it, so can you!


I discovered a new post workout snack - one egg on a rice cake. I love them both separately, and they were just as yummy together. I need to work on my egg presentation. I was shooting for over hard and ended up scrambled. 


I went to Whole Foods after work and always pick up a chocolate square at checkout. Dark chocolate is basically the healthiest food on the planet. Look it up.
