Friday Cheat Day & Fitness Buddies

Happy Weekend! I hope you all had a wonderful week full of sweating and good food. To give you an idea of how early I wake up in the morning, Stella is always still sound asleep. She is never thrilled when I start singing to her, "Good morning, Good morning."


Friday was a rest day, but I still made sure to get in at least 10,000 steps. I am trying to be fitness buddies with my mom in NJ, so when I'm out walking, I text her and ask if she's walking too. Sometimes a little push is all it takes to get active...


I made my normal jumbo salad for lunch. Leftover baked chicken is perfect for salads…


I met B for dinner after work and we ate outside at Aladdin's. B read my mind and ordered the hummus while the waitress was taking our drink orders. It's like one mind, I swear...


After dinner I grabbed some fro yo to enjoy as a late night snack. I always allow one day per week (usually during the weekend) when I eat whatever I want. You need to give yourself a treat now and then. Fro yo = my favorite treat...
