Goodbye Dunkin, Hello Detox

I savored every last drop of my iced Dunkin on the way to the airport on Sunday morning. Parting is such sweet sorrow…


I was back in Columbus by 2 o'clock and did a grocery run to get ready for the week. I picked up some juice for lunch to help my body recover from my long weekend…


And just as I was starting to feel like myself again, my uncle made homemade mojitos...and they were good. Detox starts Monday? 



Sunday dinner was not as much fun this week since my cousin is in the hospital with a broken femur bone. The food was of course still amazing, but we missed P a lot.


My little cousin made me this creation. Rule #1 of family - you don't turn down desserts that are microwaved and placed in a bowl for you...


I have three new workout/health goals for this week…

1. Workout every morning. I feel so much better when I start the day with a sweat session. 

2. Add in one day of running - 4 runs/week. 

3. No sweets/alcohol until Friday. I've been drinking a lot lately and eating way too much candy/ice cream/fro yo/everything else. My goal is to have a clean week of eating and sweating.
