Successful Rest Days & A Few Summer Favorites

Rest days are part of the plan. At least that's what they keep telling me. So I will keep respecting the plan. I woke up and got dressed like a normal person and went for a walk before work. I'm also told walking is a-ok…

Non-workout attire

I foam rolled afterwards to stretch out my muscles. I could definitely tell when rolling that I needed the rest day. My quads were tight. A quick photo example of foam rolling. I stack my legs when rolling, but if that feels like too much pressure (warning: it's going to hurt), place your top leg in front of the bottom leg with your foot on the floor. You'll still work out the kinks...


Oh and yoga is always a good idea. Sitting still is not something I'm great at…
