Sundays Are For Brunch, Sweating & Movies

Sunday morning = brunch. I was craving oatmeal and eggs, so I made both! Healthy 1 egg/1 egg white, asparagus and grape tomatoes omelet with one slice toasted ezekiel bread along with 1/4 cup oatmeal with blueberries and 1/4 cut up banana. The perfect Sunday breakfast…

Sunday's workout was 53 minutes on the Elliptical followed by the weight room. Squats, ab work, jumping jacks, repeat…

My friend bought me a heads up band for my birthday (the headband I've been wearing in every workout pic), and then I bought this pink flowered one last week. I love them! I usually have to pin headbands to ensure they don't fall off during workouts, but these stay put. And no, I do not receive any perks or freebees from this company. I just really like them so go buy one! Mine are sold at my local running store...

Post workout snack was the remaining 1/4 banana (I eat half a banana every day) on a rice cake with almond butter. Peanut butter is my nut butter of choice, but it's good to switch it up from time to time, so it's going to be Almond for a little while...

In the afternoon, my uncle, cousin and I went and saw X-men in 3D. None of my friends like seeing comic book movies with me, so I get to spend time with these crazy kids...

I can't say no to movie theater popcorn, but the theater had these little trays so I could have a (relatively) small portion. It was delicious!

Family dinner was greek chicken, rice and veggies. So good.

We then had cut up fruit for dessert, but since I believe it's not dessert if it does not include chocolate, I had a small bowl of ice cream as well. Happy Sunday.

And of course we watched GOT, but The Tony Awards were also on Sunday night. I recorded them because Jon Snow comes first (one episode left!), but caught part of the show afterwards and will re-watch multiple times over the next week. I have loved Broadway and live theater since I was a little girl. Do yourself a favor and go see a play or musical no matter where you live. It's simply the best...

Best workout this weekend? My trail run on Saturday.

Best thing you ate this weekend? Sunday's chicken was delicious!

Last movie you saw? Technically, Kiss-Ass 2 since we watched that after dinner on Sunday before GOT.
