Fun Weekends Go Too Fast

The worst thing about a great weekend is how it's over in the blink of an eye. How is it Monday night already?!

On Saturday night, we had a ladies dinner at the Columbus Fish Market in Grandview. It was the best meal I've had in Columbus since I moved here. A few of us took advantage of the restaurant week menu - appetizer, entree, and dessert. I also ordered a Columbus white cranberry Cosmo. Everything was delicious…

Mussels

Walleye

Some chocolate/peanut butter slice of heaven

I have some awesome friends...

I slept on sunday...all day. Welcome to grandma-hood. After sleeping my life away, I made it over to my Aunt and Uncle's for family dinner. My aunt made homemade baby back ribs, cornbread, coleslaw and baked mac n cheese. I still don't know why she decided to spoil us all, but it was the second best meal I've had since I moved to Columbus…

All of that food tasted so good, but when it still hadn't digested 5 hours later, I knew it was time to get my act together. I'll be eating healthy for the foreseeable future. Pinky swear.

I did another afterwork workout on Monday. Not my favorite, but you have to do what you have to do. My legs didn't wake up until mile 3, so it was not the happiest of runs - heavy legs make you feel like you're working 5x harder than you actually are - but I did it and stayed on pace. The views were pretty nice too…

My post run dinner was a tad lighter than the past few nights. Health-ified shrimp tacos…

What was the best thing you ate this weekend? My Columbus Fish Market meal

Best workout this weekend? Barre with friends!

How do you get back on track after a cheat weekend? I like a good sweat session.
