Strength Training Before Cardio & Fantasy Time

3 days until I leave for Europe! I can't believe it's almost here!

I spent Monday morning at the gym. I'm trying to get in a couple of strength training sessions this week before my trip since I've been slacking in the weights department. I woke up super late (hello, Monday), so I had to do my session before running. Apparently it's actually beneficial to strength train before cardio (you're not as tired, etc - read article here), but after lots of hamstring work and squats, my legs felt heavy during my run. Once in a while it's good to switch things up, but I'm not sure I can make that my normal. Maybe once a week?

And I just noticed I wore my headband with my visor again…sigh.

Splits: 9:17, 9:13, 9:16, 9:27


I ate my favorite breakfast with some homemade iced coffee post workout…


I'm not a fan of multi day juice cleanses, but a juice here and there as a snack or small meal replacement is great for feeling your best and detoxing a bit. I had one yesterday as a late morning snack...


I met up with friends last night to draft our Fantasy Football league. It's my first time doing the fantasy thing, and while I'm a huge football fan, I honestly had no idea what I was doing. That just means I'm totally going to win :)
