Running On Tired Legs & Cooking For 1

It's (almost) hump day! The Bestie is coming to visit on Friday which basically makes this the greatest and longest week of my life...

My week has so far been wonderfully boring. Monday was a rest day, so I worked all day and got my car serviced. I told you, eventful. My car hadn't had an oil change in almost 4,000 miles. Yup. So safe to say, she was reeeeaaaaalllly happy when we left the shop...

My car took a little time, so I ran across the street to Kohls to look at shoes. I ended up buying these booties by Lauren Conrad, and I will be wearing them until the snow is too deep to walk. It's weird buying non-running related shoes. It doesn't happen often...

I ran 4 miles around the neighborhood on Tuesday, and my legs were a little more tired than I would have liked. I usually don't run hard on Sundays, and I sprinted the entire last mile of my race, so I'm sure that's a factor. Also, my shoes are hitting their limit. It's time to try out my new Ghosts 7s sitting in their box. I've been tired these past few days as well. I ended up taking an hour nap after work, so I'm thinking I just need to rest up a little. Working out a lot = MORE SLEEP…

On Monday, I baked some chicken and put half of it on a TJ Greek salad for Monday night's dinner…

And the other half was used on a corn tortilla with veggies for Tuesday's dinner. I have really mastered this cooking for 1 thing…

On a scale of 1-10, how are your workouts feeling this week? I'm at a 5. Not terrible, not great.

What's your favorite cooking for 1 or 2 recipe?
