Weekend Recap: Eating More & Working Out Less

And it's Sunday again. I had a great weekend with the Bestie and we took one picture in three days…


Yup, blogger fail. But we had a great weekend together. I'm definitely sad to be leaving all my friends and family in Columbus but getting to see this lady all the time again in a few months is making me really happy. 

I knew my workouts would be less of a priority this weekend, so I only ran a short 30 minute run on Friday, and it was hot. I'm not handling this random heat wave well at all. Maybe if I ran in the early morning hours like a normal runner, my runs wouldn't be as difficult. I never learn…


I ate all the things I love that I never eat when my Bestie's not around. Chipotle for lunch…

I took Saturday off from working out. My hips have been popping a lot, and taking a little break to ensure I'm healthy for race day is 100 times more important to me than getting in a few extra miles in a week. On Sunday, I ran 3.5 miles and hopped on the elliptical for 15 minutes to cool down…


We ate brunch at the Grand Day Cafe. I haven't been to brunch in a while. It was delicious! 


M has been part of the family for many many years, so she was almost more excited for Sunday family dinner than I was. My aunt outdid herself (what else is new), and made an amazing lasagna for us all to inhale…

After seeing every food pic I posted, I'm excited to get back to training this week. Half marathon in 3 weeks!!!
