Thankful For Friends & A Few "Lasts"

Happy night before Thanksgiving/Thanksgiving if you're reading this on Thursday :)

I'm hoping to get an actual Thanksgiving post up Thursday night, but it's worth repeating how thankful I am for all the good in my life. My family, friends, job, running, this blog and so much more. It all just makes life that much better each morning. So to everyone normal celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday (we are crazy and celebrate Friday), have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

On Tuesday, I did a 4 mile run around the neighborhood. Since I'm moving Sunday, I'm now at the point where everything I'm doing is potentially the "last." So that very well may have been my last neighborhood run, although I think one more may be coming on Friday.

I'm also trying hard not to buy new food at the grocery store, so I'm eating up some hidden finds in my pantry. This chicken and dumpling soup after my 4 miles was so good...

Stella still doesn't quite understand what's happening with the move. I think she thinks I'm just on a cleaning frenzy...

One of the hardest parts of moving is ensuring your DVR is cleared out. I have spent weeks getting it down to 0%...

I had my last personal training session on Wednesday morning, and we celebrated by doing pull-ups with an assist from resistance bands. Ouch. My hamstrings have been a little tight this week, so I only did 25 minutes on the Elliptical before calling it a day...

Later in the day, I picked up my bib for the Columbus Turkey Trot! I'm so excited to run tomorrow morning, and the first 1000 male/female finishers win a pumpkin pie. I want that pie!

I had my last dinner with the girls tonight, and I think the best way to sum up my time with them this past year and a half is simply thankful. So so thankful. I'm really going to miss them...

What are you thankful for this year?

Who is running a Turkey Trot?
