The Last Sunday Dinner & A Light Spin Workout

Happy week of Thanksgiving! We should be thankful every single day of the year, but in case we forget from time to time, let's make sure to reflect this week!

Today I'm thankful that the Home Alone collection was $8 at Target. I only watch 1 & 2 (has anyone seen 3??), but it was still a steal! Who wants to have a movie night?!

After an amazing (and filling!) friends-giving, I had a personal training session on Sunday morning. I ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes before and 10 minutes after for 3.3 miles of fun. I'm down to one last session before my big move. It still hasn't hit me that one week from right now I'll be in a new apartment...

I had my last family dinner Sunday night and my aunt made my meal of choice. I love Mexican food and didn't want a heavy meat/pasta dish with the holiday this week, so I went with fajitas! I contributed homemade guac to the meal - recipe here!

I'm really going to miss this food, buuuut I think those stubborn 5 pounds that keep hanging on may be a tad easier to lose when I don't have this yumminess staring me in the face once a week.

Amazing...

And then dessert...

I have had my Garmin for almost a year, and yet I've never planned a workout on the device. I made a 5 mile run workout online and transferred it to my Garmin. I'll update you on how the workout goes later this week when I do my 5 mile fun run :)

Monday was supposed to be a rest day, but it's Thanksgiving week, so it wasn't. I still like keeping things relatively easy so my legs can run strong the next few days, so I took a Spin class. I really enjoy Spin, but the instructor was on a major house music kick tonight. Not my favorite, so I replayed "Bang Bang" in my head over and over again...

I stopped by my Uncle's house after the gym to pick up a few things, and they offered me a plate of food. Don't mind if I do freeload all week long. Leftover chicken, peppers/onions and salsa from last night's fajitas. I went without the tortilla and added a salad to make it a little more healthy...

What was your workout today?

Does anyone use the workout function on their Garmins? How do you like it?
