Waking Up Early Is Worth It & I Finally Took Down My Tree

Happy weekend, friends! After a very very very hectic December and early January, I'm treating myself to a little R&R this weekend. I have a much needed deep tissue massage scheduled for Saturday, so if you need me, I'll be at the Spa (said in my deepest classic Hollywood voice).

I didn't realize it's been a little while since I checked in, so let's rewind. On Wednesday morning, I was up bright and early for a 40 minute run on the treadmill. My left hip is still not the best, but it's doing better than last week, so that's a plus...

I'm loving my early morning gym sessions. I do not love the fact that I'm a grandma and in bed at 9pm Tuesday-Thursday, but for now, it's worth it. Since the Bestie's wedding is a thing of the past (did last weekend even happen??), I have a new label for my 4:50am morning alarm. I'm liking it...

I found a new favorite snack at TJ's. These pop chips are so good. The bag says it holds 4 servings, but I respectfully disagree :)

I was also craving ice cream before my stop at TJ's. Crisis averted. I may have asked for seconds...

I was leaving work the other night and took this picture of the Empire State Building. I'm usually moving so quickly or tapping on my phone that I forget I am lucky enough to work in one of the world's greatest cities. It pays to look up once in a while...

I finally took down my Christmas tree on Friday. It's only January 17th. Whoops. I put up my tree the moment I moved in, so now I have to figure out how to spice up this corner. I have some ideas...

Stella was browsing through the boxes and decided to bust out her own yoga moves. I call this Kitty Split...

Now I'm finishing up some sushi and trying to psych myself up for tomorrow's long(ish) run in 18 degree weather. Should be fun...

What's the coldest temperature you've ran in?

How long was your Christmas tree up for?
