Is There Anything Cuter & Tired Legs

It has been one of those weeks where I said sixteen times today, "it's only Tuesday?!" Let's rewind to Easter. I'm going to be 26 in less than 2 weeks and my parents still make me an Easter basket :)


Also, is there anything cuter than a 5 year old hunting for Easter eggs? 


We enjoyed lots of food on Sunday and then celebrated my little cousin's birthday with some yummy cake. I always thought Thanksgiving was the gluttonous holiday, but apparently I eat tons of food during every holiday... 



On Monday morning I attempted to repent by doing a 55 minute Spin session. I had a little time afterwards to do some strength training. I lift weights approximately once every 3 weeks right now (I really need to work on this), so I'm always extra sore for my run on Tuesday morning. Lesson learned for the next training cycle.  


On Monday night, I ate some homemade fajitas with my first margarita of the season. Spring is here! 


Tuesday morning's run started off rough, but I just keep reminding myself that it takes my body 2-3 miles to really warm up. With only 18 days to go till race day, my legs are tired. After my 20 miler on Saturday, I expected this run to be a little bit of a struggle. I started the run slow with a 9:40 mile and ended with an 8:47... 


And now I'm sitting here eating leftover Easter candy and enjoying a little R&R... 


Are you sick and tired of 6 month old chocolate yet? Me neither.
