Starting Vacation Off Right & Dream Boards

Happy start to another week! I mentioned yesterday how I am off from work all week, so I'm just sitting here relaxing with some coffee. Eventually I'll be productive. Maybe.

I started my week off yesterday with a Spin class. I showed up right as class was starting and couldn't get my assigned bike to work so I ran to another one. The point of this story is that my ride was a little short of 60 minutes this week, but still an amazing workout. I'm not sure why I thought I could push myself harder than the instructors. I had the resistance at 19 at one point - never did that before...

After class, I went over and lifted some weights. I really need to tone up for a certain wedding a month from now (more on this in a later post), so I'm trying to kick my booty into gear...

A few hours later, I scheduled a deep tissue massage. If you ever want to start a week's vacation off on the right foot, get a massage. I could have stayed there all day. And my lower back is oh so sore today.

So what will I be doing with my life this week. I have no idea! Isn't that great :) I will probably have the chance to blog more - lucky you! Also, my workouts will be much more relaxed because I won't have to rush. Today's a rest day, so I'm making sure to walk or take a bike ride later in the day so I don't go stir crazy.

Other than that, my only project this week is something that probably makes me the biggest nerd on the planet. I have one zillion magazines lying around. It has really become a problem because I am NOT a hoarder. But I've been putting them all inside a shelf and had no clue how many I actually had until I took them out.

So my solution is obvious...

Yep, I'm making one of those poster boards where you put the things you hope to achieve or come across in your life on it and the universe is supposed to play along - if you've never read The Secret, I highly recommend. I'm going to have a lot of fun with this - possibly too much fun and never leave my apartment - and I'll be sure to post the finish product if I ever get it done. I'm still in the process of finding a better "O" for "Board."

Have a great Monday!

What's your favorite way to relax?

Have you ever created a dream board? Did anything come true?
