Another Blue Apron Meal & Some R&R

Another small vacation has come to an end. I'd be more sad if I didn't have another mini break next week. I'm just living the dream over here.

Rewind to Sunday. I squeezed in a quick 45 minutes on the Spin bike before I had to run to meet my friend for brunch. 45 minutes is plenty of time to get in a solid workout...


We ate at Toast in Asbury Park. I had never been there before but heard it was excellent. There was a 40 minute wait at 10:30am, so I knew it was going to be good. I ordered a spring scramble wrap, and it didn't disappoint... 


It was a hot day, but the beach was perfect. There was a cool breeze coming off the ocean, so I just decided to stay there all afternoon...



And of course, I hung out with my favorite...


I was off on Monday, so my workout started a little later than normal. It was HOT outside, so I didn't even attempt to run outside. The treadmill worked out just fine. Oh and I accidentally hit the stop button again - this time with my phone. Yep. My goal for the day was 4 miles, but I wanted to go 40 minutes. Eh well...


Then I did the things I usually do when I don't have to work. Nails...


And some shopping. PS this bag is much more scandalous than what's actually inside...


I received my second Blue Apron box, and cooked up the Salmon Caesar Salad. I love that I can adjust these recipes to my liking. If you've been reading for a while, you know I'm a big weirdo and don't put dressing on my salad. So I basically made a Salmon salad with lemon juice and a little parmesan cheese. I thought it was delicious. 



Do you have a weird food thing? I also don't eat cold cuts with cheese sandwiches - but I eat them both separately. That blows people's minds.
